Welcome to Longbox.net! This FAQ should answer most of your questions. If not, then email your question to questions@longbox.net and include "Internet Store Question" as the subject.

How can I view the status of my order?
Go to the Customer Service, Account Information page. This page lists all your orders. Click the date of the order whose status you wish to view.

When do Longbox.net staff respond to email?
We respond to all e-mail daily (M-F), and try to get back to you within 24 hours.

What is your system of grading comics?
Please view our Grading Standards. --link

Why am I unable to search for certain titles, such as Spiderman?
The system lists all these titles as Spider-man (with a hyphen). The same is true for the X-men, while Batman and Superman are listed without a hyphen.

What if I can't find an item in the Internet Store?
If you are looking for an item not currently listed, please email us.

Why does your system use cookies?
The Internet Store uses cookies to remember what you are searching for to help you navigate through the different pages, and to associate your order with you. Cookies cannot steal your email address, nor do they know who you are unless you tell them. In this system, your name is never part of a cookie, even when you order.

How long will it take to get my comics?
That will depend on the postal service and our internal delivery time. We try and ship all Internet orders within 24-48 hours. Once your package leaves the building, it generally takes 3-7 business days for the postal service to deliver. Total shipping time is thus 4-10 business days. In that case it can take up to a week. For International orders it is far more difficult to gauge shipping time. International delivery times can vary widely. In general, however, it takes two-three weeks for airmail (including our fulfillment time), or three-four with our other International Carriers. Both domestic and international shipping is also available by either UPS, DHL, or Federal Express. In order for this to happen, however, you must bear any additional cost of shipping, plus an allowance for additional handling costs. If you're willing to pay the costs, we can get a shipment to almost anywhere in the world within 48 hours. Backorders are billed and ship when they become available. Subscriptions are billed and ship when they arrive in our shop based upon your plan. (Weekly / Monthly shipments.)

What are your shipping costs?
You can view an estimate of shipping costs by viewing your cart.However, final shipping costs will be displayed on the Invoice you see before confirming your order. For subscriptions, we attempt to group as many of your selections as possible in one shipment. When we are able to do this, we then adjust your final invoice before billing / shipment occurs to reflect the savings.

Do you have a printed catalog of your listings?
We have multiple catalogs for some of new products we have available, but the only current inventory of our available back issues is what we have online.

What if I'm not happy with my order?
Any order, or part of any order can be returned if not as advertised. In particular, if a comic has been misgraded we will either compensate you for the difference in grade, or try and provide a replacement. We do not, however, accept any responsibility for the content of the issues we sell. If we make a mistake, we will fix it immediately. Otherwise we accept no returns of product after an order has been placed.

How accurate is your inventory?
Our subscription inventory is based upon our vendor catalogs and is 100% accurate as to product content, although estimated delivery dates have been known to be adjusted by the publisher. Pre-orders are 100% guaranteed, as we ship to our subscribers before filling our shelves.

Back issue inventory is kept up to date as best as possible. While some product is on display in our retail store, this occurs in less than 3% of the inventory we list online overall. We do periodically audit our store inventories in order to keep inaccuracies to a minimum. If for any reason, you have a question as to an issue's availability, email us, and we'll check to be sure the issues you are seeking are actually still available.
